![]() however, in the wrong hands of course it may not turn out for the best. i've installed a bunch of auto tune set ups and then run them on the dyno to hit all the mapping points and i couldn't do much better on improving the map it made. I can adjust my stance a bit, auto tune being used by someone who can set up the parameters properly and understands mapping is a great thing. This system eliminates the need for a power commander,a TRE ,an ignition module or any rev and top speed limiter removal hardware.Īlso this system comes with pre made dyno tuned maps (like a pc) for each bike running different fuels and will also load power commander maps. If I wanted to advance my ignition by 3 degrees I have to buy a dyno jet ignition module to connect to my pc3 at about the whole cost of this entire setup. I have a pc3 on my bike and have done some home and minimal dyno tuning and I can tell you just cause the bikes been dyno tuned does not mean it is setup perfectly for the street. ![]() Having that data and the ability to change ECU fuel map and ignition timing maps would give you the same tuning capability as pro circuit racing teams. From what I have read you are better using a wide band a/f data logger than a dyno so you can take the real world numbers and tune accordingly.Ī dyno tune is a simulation and not a very good one at that, tuning with a data logger tells you what is really happening when you are actually riding the bike.
